Welcome to my new blog, Read My Name Kids. Some of you may already know me from my other site, Reviewed by Mom. I was initially going to try and integrate my Read My Name idea into Reviewed by Mom but the idea is so special to me that I decided it needed its' own unique space.
What exactly is Read My Name Kids? It is a space to find children's books by your chids name. I love books. Really, really love books. Books are my "go to" gift especially for children and I really love to give ones that have a personal feel. I know my children LOVE to hear their own names as a character in the stories we read. A couple of Christmas's ago I was trying to find a book which included the names of my children and I struggled to find one for my son "W". I was wishing for a list of names with corresponding childrens books but alas, I came up empty. So, here we are with Read My Name Kids. I will be starting an ongoing list of children's books and corresponding names from my vast children's book library. I will also include new book reviews so you can stay up to date on the latest reads for children. You may even find a giveaway or two!
